The much needed modernisation and extension to Cams Hill School is complete. The school 's design brief required a new entrance, reception, library, drama studio, events hall and office.
The Axis design team on this project had to overcome numerous challenges including limited space and a collection of contrasting styles of the existing buildings. The final design was a bold two storey structure with subtle curving and white coloured render to the façade. The new main entrance and reception provides an obvious and welcoming anchor to the school.
This project was also the cause for further celebration for Axis as it was their 1000th project since the inception of the business in 1994.
