axis exhibits at tomicca property expo 2010

Axis Architecture was pleased to be one of the exhibitors at the inaugural Tomicca Property Expo 2010 held at 1000 Lakeside in Portsmouth. The event brought together many varied professionals involved in the building industry including architects, developers, suppliers and consultants. Axis was happy to see many people they have worked with in the past and also to meet new people that they could potentially work with in the future.
The stand aimed to display the best of our past projects and to illustrate the value that Axis can bring to any building project. Axis has experience in many different building sectors ranging from educational and industrial, to residential and leisure. Our expertise can be applied to any stage of a building project from initial feasibility studies; to planning and building regulations; to overseeing construction projects on-site and supporting clients during post-completion.

Axis is dedicated to producing the most appropriate solution to a project, so that the finished design will sit comfortably in its context and function correctly for its intended use. The design for a new sailing club near St. Lawrence in Essex was elegantly presented on the table in the form of a 1:100 scale model, a project close to our hearts due to its sailing connections.

There were also four seminars held throughout the day that covered the latest developments in the Planning system; Feed-in-Tariffs; Renewable technologies; and PUSH (Partnership for Urban South Hampshire). They were all very informative and a valuable resource.

Axis looks forward to attending next year's Tomicca Property Expo 2011, which aims to grow on the success of this year's event.
