Axis Architecture has gained planning approval for a new Community Centre for Christ Church in Gosport. This new Community Centre will stand in the place of an existing dilapidated building which will be demolished. Above the community centre there will be 6 flats.
There is a brick plaque on the original church hall showing the names of the congregation when the original building was constructed in 1906. This is to be salvaged and carefully built in to an illuminated entrance lobby opposite a new etched glass plaque which will include the names of the current congregation.
