feasibility study for a mixed-use development

Axis Architecture produced a CAD massing model - and these 3D visualisations - as part of a feasibility study for a mixed-use development.

The images were used to convey to the client how such a scheme would manifest itself as a physical mass, giving a basic impression of the appearance and density of the building.

Parking provision for both residential and commercial accommodation is provided to the rear, leaving the street façade uninterrupted to address the urban context.

The residential blocks raised on 'pilotis', are punctuated with feature circulation towers to the rear. The terracing of the blocks suppresses the mass of the building appropriate to the surrounding urban environment.
