NEW PRODUCTION AND STORAGE FACILITY FOR PASTA REALE
Axis Architecture was commissioned under a Design and Build arrangement with TSL Projects Ltd to provide a new production and cold storage facility for the pasta production company Pasta Reale. The building is sited on a large industrial estate in Crawley adjacent to Gatwick International Airport.
The new building has two storeys providing a production area and changing facility on the first floor and a cold storage warehouse on the ground floor. There are four dock levellers to the rear of the goods yard.
To meet their demands, Pasta Reale decided to purchase and demolish an old dilapidated factory some 200 yards further along the road from their present production base.
There is a three storey office block situated on the front of the building providing internal passageways to the production and storage areas.
The colours chosen throughout the design have been matched with Pasta Reales corporate colours and their existing building
