Axis Architecture was commissioned by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals to design a new pallet storage facility. The building had to allow the storing of 1040 pallets in 20 pallet high columns and to be protected from the elements. All the pallets were to be moved by a fork lift truck.
This storage area was located adjacent the forklift maintenance workshop, the original building being re-clad at the same time as the new extension.
