Shaun Slack - Axis Architecture

Shaun Slack is one of the founding partners of Axis Architecture, which began practicing on the 2nd February 1994.

Having gained a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Building Studies in 1986, he then obtained Associate Member status with the British Institute of Architectural Technologists in 1988.

He spent his first four to five years as an Architectural Technologist at a local based residential housing company, undertaking all aspects of house type design, site layout and associated disciplines.

The following five years of Shaun's career were spent at HGP Greentree Allchurch Evans Ltd., one of the largest architectural practices on the south coast, where he developed his experience and undertook the responsibilities and duties of a Senior Architectural Technologist.

Further professional development has included becoming an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute Of Builders, in January 2001.

Projects undertaken during this period included: -

          Cinemas - in London and Portsmouth
          Hotels - in Kettering and Titchfield
          Offices - in Fareham and Bristol
          Housing - in Bideford and Bristol

Shaun Slack is responsible as I.T. Manager, for developing the Computer Aided Design skills of the company, to the extent that Axis Architecture has for some time been a fully computerised architectural practice.
