Axis Architecture since 1994

Arla Foods

Axis Architecture produce drawings for multiple sites owned by Arla Foods. The highest standards of hygiene and food safety are required for these works. Most of the projects occur within an existing food production environment, therefore areas are to be hermetically sealed to allow production to continue during building work.
Projects require a detailed understanding of how the food production equipment/machinery is assembled and how it is operated and maintained. The machinery is usually more expensive than the building that encloses it and has to run 24/7 in often humid and caustic environments. Often the factories have all aspects of the industry under one roof – delivery, assembly, packaging, storage, distribution, lorry parks, car parks, offices, canteens, changing, laboratories and engineering workshops.
