Owen Room, All Saint’s Church

– Portsmouth, Hampshire

In 1976 there was a major reordering of the interior of the church creating a separate church hall known as the ‘Owen Room’ named after the original church Architect Jacob Owen.

Axis have recently completed a further reordering of the ‘Owen Room’ with a major refurbishment and the installation of three sets of glazed doors and screens to visually open up the exterior and link the reception and the Own Room with the main church nave for a more inclusive experience.

Much work was done to restore some of the damage done during the 1976 reordering.  The Magnificent chancel can now be seen from the main entrance doors.
